The advantages of the pneumatic nailer are obvious considering how strenuous, laborious and power-consuming it would be, for example, when roofing or fixing floorboards, hammering every single nail with a hammer, then the costs for the appropriate professionals would certainly rise, since it will be very time-consuming.

To date, different types of nail guns have established themselves on the market, so that the right device is available for every requirement and for a wide variety of applications.
Devices such as best brad nailers are extremely easy to use, they are usually ergonomically shaped, so they fit well in the hand. They are pretty noiseless and allow you to drive the nail into the right spot without any issues. Although the individual nails certainly come out of the front part of the device “like a gun”, they are nevertheless not very well-developed technical knowledge in order to be able to handle them. Safety is a top priority and, in addition, it does not hurt to go to work with the use of the nail gun with appropriate protective clothing.
Depending on the size, there are models that are able to shoot nails up to three inches in length. In addition, there are also higher quality, heavier devices that would enable you to shoot nails up to 20 inches in length. Furthermore, brad nailers also differ with regard to their shot modes. While there are nail guns on the one hand, which always shoot a nail at the touch of a button, it is readily possible for other types of nail guns to shoot several nails at intervals.

How does a brad nailer work?
The operation of a brad nailer is somewhat comparable to that of a pistol. At the push of a button, however, no bullet comes out of the barrel, but with each press of the trigger, a nail shoots out at about 5 to 10 bars, releasing itself from a magazine as the trigger is actuated. Such a magazine can – depending on the device – comprise about 100 to 150 nails. However, it depends on the size of the nails, their thickness and so on.
When you press the trigger button of the nailer, a so-called driver is activated, which literally pushed the nail, which is next in firing position, off its head. And with a considerable pressure, this procedure is incidentally the basis for naming the pneumatic nailer. As soon as a nail has been shot out, the next nail, which is located in the immediate order inside the magazine, moves immediately.
Certainly, a lot of energy is required to activate the nail and shoot with full force goal-oriented from the device. On the one hand, this power can be ensured by connecting a so-called compressed air stapler to an air compressor, so that an adequate supply of compressed air is ensured by it.
This is especially common with classic devices. Some newer nailers are cordless, and do not require an air compressor. Their power source is either fuel cell or a battery.
In addition, it also depends on which drive technology a pneumatic nailer is equipped with, for example devices with accumulator drive or models that work with gas differ, among other things, with regard to the shooting power. This is the case with most brad nailers so that only a nail is delivered like a gun, when the device occurs on a hard, solid surface. The fact is that most devices in this product category do not trigger when they press on a soft surfaces for safety purposes.
